Bootstrapped GEMANOVA
The file 'bootstrap.zip' includes MATLAB functions, a data set and example code for a non-parametric model-based bootstrap. The functions form the basis for a validation criterion for explorative generalised multiplicative analysis of variance (GEMANOVA). The validation criterion is used in Liland and Færgestad (2009) "Testing effects of experimental design factors using multi-way analysis": http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.chemolab.2009.01.007.

Cross Model Validation
Cross model validation (CMV) is a PLS based method used to avoid overoptimistic regression models as a result of variable selection. This Matlab-toolbox includes automated routines for optimisation of regression models as described in [Gidskehaug et al. (2008), Cross model validation and optimisation of bilinear regression models, Chemometr. Intell. Lab., doi:10.1016/j.chemolab.2008.01.005]

Panelcheck
The Panelcheck was developed to investigate the performance of individual assessors and to detect individual differences among assessors in a sensory panel. By visualising different type of information in a set of various plots the panel leader can extract relevant information without the need of extensive knowledge in statistics.

50-50 MANOVA with rotation testing
Multiple responses are common in industrial and scientific experimentation and a multivariate alternative to ordinary analysis of variance (ANOVA) is often required. Significance tests based on classical multivariate ANOVA (MANOVA) are, however, useless in many practical cases. The tests perform poorly in cases with several highly correlated responses and the method collapses when the number of responses exceeds the number of observations. 50-50 MANOVA is a new method which handles this problem.

FTIR pre-processing
The following will be placed on this web page:
1) FTIR Model spectra for estimation and removal of water vapour and carbon dioxide gas, and for estimation and correction of sample water temperature, from Bruker FTIR spectra, for use in e.g. EMSC in PLS Toolbox or The Unscrambler.
2) Matlab code for estimation and removal of water vapour and carbon dioxide gas from Bruker FTIR spectra, based on additive modelling in the second derivative.
